Aku sangat teruk dalam presenting orally. Sangat2 teruk. Bila saja aku di depan orang ramai, terus kaku dan kelu. Semua benda kabur dari ingatan. Bebaru ni ada pergi kursus Presenting Orally... ada la belajar tips sikit2... ada gak latih skit2. Penceramah tu kata... kalau belajar teori je tak guna. Tak kan improve gak. yang penting practice. Aku tahu tu... itu sebab aku try jugak....
Sebenarnya, aku kena present hari ni. Seperti yang dijanjikan minggu lepas, hari ni tiba giliran aku pulak. Tak ramai orang datang. Graduation, summer course dan yang excape pun ada gak. Yang ada budak2 MSc je.
Tapi, yang paling aku sedih dan terasa ialah sebab supervisor aku xdtg. Sedih sangat. Kenapa ek? Aku tau, minggu ni dia sibuk dgn Summer Course. Tapi ntahla... sedih jugak. Tapi takpe, tak ramai orang, senang skit nak present. Dan aku konker semua waktu sejam itu utk aku.
Memang teruk aku present. Tapi baik sikit aa dari yg lepas. Sikiiit jer. Tak banyak. Takpe, lain kali cuba lagi ek. Jangan putus asa. Aku mesti cuba sampai boleh!
Has, jgn aa sedih2... setiap yg berlaku ada sebab musababnya. Jgn sedih ye....

Kingdom Of Heaven II
Assalamu alaikum
InshaAllah all of you are having a great summer vacation. As many of you know there is a new movie out called "Kingdom of Heaven" which touches upon the life of Salahuddin Ayoobi. In the midst of all the western interpretations in the movie, we would like to share with you a quote from him:

"We hope in Allah Most High, to whom be Praise. Who leads the hearts of Muslims to calm what torments them and ruins their prosperity. Where is the sense of honor of the Muslims? The pride of the Believers? The zeal of the Faithful? We shall never cease to be amazed at how the disbelievers for their part have shown trusts, and it is the Muslims who have been lacking in zeal. Not one of them has responded to the call. Not one intervenes to straighten what is distorted; but observe how far the Franks have gone. What unity they have achieved. What aims they pursue. What help they have given. What sums of money they have borrowed and spent. What wealth they have collected and distributed and divided amongst them. There is not a king left in their lands or islands, not a lord or a rich man who has not competed with his neighbors to produce more support and rival his peers in strenuous military efforts. In defense of their religion they consider it a small thing to spend life and soul; and they have kept their infidel brothers supplied with arms and champions of war; and all they have done and all their generosity has been done purely out of zeal for him they worship in jealous defense of their faith. This is the moment to cast off laziness, to summon from far and near all those men who have blood in their veins; but we are confident [He speaks about himself and the small party of believers who began with him and then became a large party]; but we are confident thanks to Allah- alhamdulillah- in the help that will come from him and entrust ourselves to him in sincerity of purpose and deepest devotion. InshaAllah, InshaAllah the disbelievers shall perish and the Faithful have a sure deliverance.

Pemalsuan Fakta Sejarah Dalam Kingdom of Heaven
Bebaru ni aku dapat fwd email dari seorang sahabat. Berkenaan dgn fakta sejarah dalam filem Kingdom of Heaven. Ditulis oleh ustaz Dundee yg sedang buat PHD dalam 'Jerusalem Studies'....
A'kum.
ops.. bukan nak buat review. malas la pulak nak tulis berjela2. dissertation pun tak siap2 lagi. apa yang nak dikongsi ialah, beberapa kesalahan fakta sejarah di dalam cerita Kingdom of Heaven. bagi ana, cerita ni kira oraitlah. unbiased. yang berada di pihak yang tak kena 'sindir' dalam cerita ni, ialah yahudi sahaja. entah2, yahudi yang melobi supaya cerita ni dihasilkan.
sedikit kesilapan fakta sejarah dalam movie tersebut. harap2 ada yang tolong tambah :
1. Balian bukan anak kepada Godfrey. Balian adalah anak kepada Barisan of Ibelin. Ana tak pasti Godfrey mana yang dimaksudkan di dalam cerita tersebut, tetapi setahu ana, Godfrey (duke of Bouillon) adalah salah seorang panglima Crusade yang menawan Jerusalem pada tahun 1099 CE.
2. Balian juga bukanlah seorang yang hampeh yang bekerja sebagai blacksmith. Tetapi beliau merupakan salah seorang tokoh Crusade.
3. Balian turut serta di dalam peperangan Hittīn, peperangan yang merintis jalan ke arah pembukaan kembali Jerusalem.
4. Cinta Balian dengan Sibylla adalah tipu semata-mata.
5. Sebelum bunuh Reynaud de Chatillon, Salāh al-Dīn ada mengajak beliau memeluk Islām.
6. Ana kurang pasti fakta adik perempuan Salāh al-Dīn dibunuh oleh Reynaud. Kalau betul sekali pun, ianya bukanlah menjadi asas kepada Salāh al-Dīn untuk menawan kembali Jerusalem. Paparan pembunuhan adik Salāh al-Dīn memberikan implikasi negative, kononnya usaha Salāh al-Dīn menawan Jerusalem adalah berdasarkan kepada dendam, dan bukannya atas kesedaran agama.
