Congratulations on your GRADUATION!

Alhamdulillah, tanggal 15 Julai yg lepas, beberapa org sahabat saya dah GRADUATE! I was invited to attend it! Felt really touched to be invited by FAIZAH. Thanks, dear!

Hari yg agak cerah dan kekadang suram. Alhamdulillah tak hujan. Biasalah, Cardiff.. Penuh dgn cabaran cuaca yang pelbagai dalam satu hari! Hehe. Semua graduan berpakaian meriah. Baju kurung menambah keayuan. Terasa cam kat mesia pulak!

Nama2 mereka yang bergraduasi. Tahniah!

Penerimaan watikah

Suasana agak meriah.

Aku pun rasa tak sabar nak abis PhD!

It's SO simple being a Muslim

COOL, article!
I just read this article yesterday bout a marriage over the phone.
Yeah! It's that simple. Not only in marriage, even in living your life, travelling, praying, etc.. That's why I'm glad to be a Muslim.
Proud to be a Muslim! [Smile]

"I do" as Muslim couple marry by telephone

KOLKATA, India (Reuters) - An Indian Muslim couple exchanged wedding vows by telephone after the groom, who lives abroad, said he did not have money to return home to get married, a cleric said on Friday.

Muslim clerics married Irin Biswas, 18, to Safikul Islam, who is employed as a labour supervisor in Kuwait.

The entire village in Murshidabad, West Bengal, watched as the clerics put a mobile phone on speaker mode, enabling them to hear the wedding vows.

"They said qubul (I do) thrice and the marriage was complete," Maulana Alamgir, a cleric who solemnised the marriage said by telephone. He said modern ceremony was not against Islamic laws.

The bride, in endless interviews to the local media, said she had seen Safikul only once, when he was home for holidays.

"I have never spoken to him but now I speak to him daily," Irin told reporters.
Safikul is due to meet his wife for the first time in October this year when he eventually comes home for holidays, family members said.

My Lil' Sis in the Uni NOW!

Alhamdulillah, she went to the same uni as me before. Actually she got three different uni offers. But then she CHOSE the one she is in now. I remember telling her to CHOOSE wisely. Don't choose it because of other people. Choose it because you REALLY want to.

Life in the uni... I can still remember. Its so FREE. No one will tell you what to do anymore. Not like in school years, when you have been arranged time to study, play, eat, and even time to sleep! But now... you are not that lil' girl anymore.

First step is to be responsible of all your act. Yes... You may do right and wrong things.. [that why we are called human!] But, in the end... BE RESPONSIBLE of all your act. Its the first step to build your personality and discover who you are, and what you are capable of.

Choose good friends that can help you, even share your happiness and difficulties. TRUST and BELIVING in each other is a foundation of a great friendship.

GO!
Discover everything..
Play Hard, Study Hard - they said...
BUT REMEMBER! Pray Hard too! - Remember Allah, surely, He will remember you!

I'm really HAPPY for her. May Allah GUIDE her at all times.
Love ya, sis!
